Message from the Captain

Anyone who has stepped into the ring wearing a Cambridge University vest can understand the sense of history that surrounds this club. It is my honour to be the Captain of this year’s Varsity campaign and oversee the safe return of the Truelove Bowl to Cambridge.

With so many people already expressing an interest in selection I look forward to meeting you all at our Meet & Greet drinks at the River Bar on Thursday 9th October. This year we are grateful for the kindness and generosity of the Glassworks Gym and their owners for being so supportive of the club and it’s members.

If there was ever a club mantra, this has fast become ours - ‘Train alongside those who know you best, learn from those you trust most, respect the wisdom of those that have been there before and embrace the promise of those just on their way’.

Everyone who makes it through to Varsity 2009 will join those already part of this club’s proud history and for those that don’t, it’s still one hell of a ride. Best of luck.
